HRA benefit

hi,

i bought a flat in the year 2007 on my name in the city X and currently living here.

last year 2010, i created a will and mentioned that the flat will be enjoying by my mother and registedred the will

my mom resides in the town A

now can i claim HRA benefit now showing my rent to my mom? can i get this benefit? the sale deed is on my name, it's only that i registered a will and gave my mom full benefit of the current home.

should my mom have to file IT returns?

NO,BY TRANSFERING WILL YOU CAN NOT GET BENEFIT OF  HRA, you are absolute owner of house not your mother as per sale deed
