Hi friends! How was the Direct Taxes paper today? It felt better than last May....a lot of amendment related questions were asked...wealth tax was a little disappointing... lets hope the scoring will be good! What do you think about Indirect Tax Paper seeing the present pattern?

Exclude the Case laws , MAT & WT & some questions of Then it ws a Paper suitable for PCC / IPCC.
Paper had only 50 marks Max worth of questions at the level of CA Final. else aa IPCC guy would solve this Paper & Pass the exams with 40 - 45 Marks beyond any doubt.
ya it ws easy paper, no tricks..no confusing non-residents, transfer pricing questions....thank u ICAI...!!
40 Marks Amendment and 10-15 Marks Case Laws..
The thing is you get lost in such a huge portion and its just the 2 small books makes the whole difference..
Thats what ICAI tries to do in May Attempts.
