How to update the address in icai

Simply write a letter to regional chapter of icai where u go reg and ask them to update their records for future correspndences with u including the journal etc.

Will they be asking for any address proof ?

And is there any way i can do it by sending an email just like i did on CS Institute, they have done it on email.

 usually hey dont ask but its better u should give either rent reciept new house mentionning address or similar 1 document as supporting highlighting it in case if they demnd later.

No i have no idea whther it can be done online on icai website .

I don't have any legal document with the new address as all the Identity proofs have the old address mentioned in them.

Not sure if they would allow with the letter only.
