Take module as basis and for understanding and memorising use R. Chandrasekhar's Book.

My opinion is ...

First go through  Dinesh madan and then Study  Study material....By the time u give a reading from madan's book, U will grasp the core issues...so SM reading would not be a great task!!! this idea will definitely work i beleive!!
