A central Govt. organization didnt file its 24G but filed qtrly 24Q for FY 2010-11.
Because on that period it was not mandatory to enter BSR and Challan no. for the govt. deductor
One of the deductee's wrong pan is rectified with correct pan.
But now ITD is asking to update booking of status P to F.
On that period all deductees have submitted their ITR and processed accordingly except wrong pan candidate.
My question how to resolve this issue?
To resolve this issue, you will need to file a revised Form 24G for the financial year 2010-11. You can do this by logging into the e-filing website of the Income Tax Department and going to the "Correction of TDS/TCS Return" section
I logged in e-Filing portal with govt. TAN and not found as such "Correction of TDS/TCS Return". Requesting if you have the solution pls mention the steps.
My case also same For financial year 2007 2008 assessment year 2008 2009 the tds correction done before 31st March 2025 the status booking is P provisional not F final Sir,in same year employed under one private organisation they also issued me form number 16 with incorrect PAN number
