we are chandigarh based patnership firm. we have pan card on name of our firm. i want to apply for income tax registration. Can anybody please guide me.
Reason why I need it.
I want to apply for payment gateway for my website . Payment gateway service providers require this document from me.

What I-T registration do you want to apply. There's no requriement under the I-T Act to get oneself registered with the Dept. Only thing is that if you are assessable to Income-Tax you should have a PAN Card and shall file your I-T Returns regulary.
No other sort of registration is required under the ACt.
