House property as per Direct tax code bill 2009

Can any one say me what will happen if the property will remain vacant for a part of a year in that case how Gross rent as introduced in DT code bill 2009 will be calculated.....

If any one can help me regarding this matter plz do help.!

 

 

& if u have other differences available b/w It act 2009 & DT code 2009 den do add those as well

Hi. Pankaj, i think it will b higher of contractual rent and presumptive rent as nothing else is mentioned in the bill. but as a part of the year is vacant the higher amt can b the presumptive rent.

Also in sub - section 5 of sec 25 it is written that provisions will b applicable if house is actually let during any part of financial year.
