Guide me - final auditing

Helloooo...!!

Here i come again for your help and guidance.

Firstly thanks to all for guiding me in last forum post where i was totally shattered. I have been doing good in studying but only i could reach 60% of my targets.

I have learnt LAW where in i was writing down all the provisions of CO`s act as practice. It was too time consuming and i have less time now still to study audit, accounts and RTP`s.

I have started Auditing wherein i decided to just read up everything and accordingly the whole day i had done 6 SA`s. On self assessing i found that i was blank again..!! I read from V. K Agarwals notes - A S Foundation with dire concentration.

I am just awestruck as to how should i go ahead with it. I mean writng down the whole audit would never serve a purpose neither do i have much time for it. I have a target to wind up in 7 days on an average on 50 pages a day. I had gone through the scanner where there was a mixed bag of theory and practical questions. Theory is also my weekness.

Please please please please guide me how do i study Auditing for finals at the earliest.

Seems like my Contribution part is over and taking part has started.....!!crying

its bettr if u prepare auditing from surbhi bansal mam's nots

notes are of no use...

refer KAMAL GARG .

book is little heavy but is real solution...

actually i dono exactly about auditing paper in final frnd.. but as far as sa u can finish off soon.. first memorise sa no so that when u come accross a point in one sa related to another sa u ll be able to easily remember.. don mug up.. but understand each and every point frnd...

i know only this much as am an ipcc student..D.S..RAWAT book is really so easy for understanding and studying...

all the best frnd..yes

happy days..smiley

I cant guide you much in this respect but i can assure sure jee jaan se juth jao...u will be able to finish.

Prioritise your subjects on the basis of weightage it holds in the paper and prepare accordingly.

Thanks and Regards

Charu

Surbhi Bansal is best, its easy to remember and learn as everything is explained point wise with summarisation at the end.

ALL THE BEST ...GOD BLESS YOU.

surbhi bansal is best,u can easily cover whole syllabus thru it and then u can refer  past year questions.it wont take more than a week to cover and if u hv stamina then it can take less time as well.

Actually right now am preparing for my audit tests, so i can atleast throw some light on how to go about it....

For the time being, am just preparing from institute's module... and i wonder if am going to buy any other book for that...

Pick up a chapter, for the first reading, go on reading it line by line underlining the important points in it for ready reference the next time. after the chapter is over, go for practice manual or compilation or any other book containing past questions. scan thru the questions. evaluate whether you are able to catch which provision will be applied... or which sa will be applicable...? thoroughly peruse the language that they use....indecision (its lengthy i know)

try to write some mock tests... or even a couple of answers... and decide whether you have retained what you read... else as long as the exam has yet not started... you can always peek in the books...cheeky

Happy Reading... All the Best....!!!enlightened

First read institute module, then read surbhi bansal madam book , and also practise manuals for past 2 years.smile.

Refer Scanner + Any Ref. Book U Have

Don't get hectic............ Read carefully ........Never try to memorise.........

Complete your target day-wise, as the case may be.................

Revise again the same day , by giving reading, the topics u prepared.

Best of luck.....

Sry....M late again in giving my tip ...

I would say ..."stick to same book , whatever u r doing ....Institute material plz don't touch ....I don't know How sneha n resham do frm tht book ......But I feel like lost , as u described abt urself.

Take compiler and read it .....and would b better if u do it from ur book ...

U will be less tense...

Ok ...now move on to d next part .......

  1. make Imp chapters list
  2. n also read its sections as well ...
  3. do Imp chapters first.
  4. make sure u don;t make (mneumanics )  as less as possible ...bcz exm time pe ye yaad ni aate+ confusion or situation dono dangerous ho jati h ...my experiance.
