Yes its compulsory to file....
a registered transporter should collect tax @ 5% from consignee ? or should the consignee pay RCM @ 5 % to govt...
Consignee pay RCM @ 5% to govt but if he is unregistered then transporter jas to collect tax.
ok thank you..and from October 13 if the transporter providing service to unregistered then should the transporter collect the 5 % tax ..since the new ruling provision of gta providing service to unregistered being exempt
Then he is required to pay tax as exemption allowed u/s 9(4) only.....
