Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies GST application for traders who purchase and process goods like wheat, rice, and soya before selling. GST is levied on the final selling price, which includes the purchase cost, processing expenses, and profit. While rice and pulses might be exempt if sold under a non-registered brand, the general principle is that GST applies to the value addition during the processing and sale.

GST will be applicable on selling price.

Suppose you purchase at Rs. 20 per KG + cost of processing per Kg + your profit = Selling price.

GST will be applicable on this selling price.

But sir wheat rice exempt hai na to
Rice and Pulse are exempted from tax if sale is done under non registered Brand
