Gst practitioner enrollment

Hello Everyone,

I am service provider providing services of tax consultancy and insurance business.  I have been alloted GST Tax payer number under insurance business but I want to apply as GST Practitioner and not able to enrol for the same. 

So, My query is whether i can apply for GST Practitioner under GST Law or should I have to surrender the GST tax payer number which is allotted for both the business. I have tired many times but not able to enrol or apply for the same. 

Kindly, guide me for the same.
