Can I claim gst @ 3% charged at the time of purchase of gold from the regd supplier. I am regd under gst.

Yes. Input Tax Credit can be claimed subject to the conditions specified in section 16(2)
If you are dealing gold business then You can claim ITC...
But, You bought self / to others use then ITC not available.
