My friend's uncle is GST registered dealer. (under the normal scheme). Now he wishes to switch on to composition scheme. Is there any procedural difficulties ?

Now the situation no way from Regular dealer to Composition scheme. He ll be wait for FY 2018-19...
A Composition dealer can opt to Regular scheme at any time. No restriction...
Now you can migrate the composition window has opened, it will work till September 30.
