It is a public company ,look in companies act,1956 u/s 610
I THINK U HAVE WRONGLE QUOTED THE SEC 610. PL CHECK IT.
gov company may be pvt or public as per section 617 any comapny in which gov or other body as indicated in it holds 51 % or more holding is colled govt company.
