well T.N. manoharan n bangar also good book coz less bulky good for revision..no book guarantee u success....its not what is read but how u read is important..
wel i'v etaken claases of ahuja sir and studied his module.but i'll suggest u if u'r preparing by self u should go with V G sir's module because it is simple and lucid and icai questions have been incorporate at appropriate places so that student can relate theory with practical. His summary module is indeed worthy to read.after reading V G sir module u can go with Padhuka otherwise module is sufficient.
my exam is on may 2011 and now i am confused whether to start preparing for idt or not because the books available in market covers finance act 2009 but for may attempt finance act 2010 will be aplicable and also i cant take classes kindly advice how to prepare.
rajiv, I think u should not study IDT & DT right now. Start studying DT & IDT from jan'11. However, u can start studying theory subject like law, audit from now.
i js hav two options ....... either to attend satellite classes of girish ahuja sir or have self study from VG sir's modules....... what shoud i do........ i havn't ever studied MODULES or attended CLASSES of both........ please advice me.
Best answer is given by Manoj Tilokani. Because no book is bad but the book which u followed in pcc may be more helpful as u know the way that author writes.
