Form 16aa

I think issuing of Form 16 AA is abolished from the financial year 2010-11

Form 16AA has been abolished as per NOTIFICATION NO 31/2009, Dated: March 25, 2009, from 1^st april 2009. This notification doesnot provided any amended form for form 16AA.

But notification Notification No. 9/2010/F.No. 142/27/2009-SO(TPL), dated 17-2-2010 provides for issuance of form 16AA. This notification came into force from 1^st April 2009.

yeah.. I agree with Varalakshmi .. Form 16AA has been abolished, Employer may issue form 16.

If Salary Income & other declared income of employee exceeds basic limit not taxable Employer may deduct TDS & issue Form 16.
