Are the food coupons in the form of SODEXHO Meal passes given by the employer would be taxable for the year 2010-11?
I heard about some frindge benefits given by the employer would be taxable. Do the Food coupons also come under this category ?

Yes after the abolition of FBT, the food coupons issued to employees will be a taxable perquisite provided it exceeds Rs. 50/meal...
food coupons and sodexho meal passes are different things.
Food Coupon - above 50Rs/meal is taxable perquisite
Sodexho meal - whole amt. is fully taxable.
