Final - aggregate short by 9 marks. is rechecking desirable?

Give all your papers for rechecking except IDT (since you have an exemption and do not want to risk losing it).

Good luck Sweta but I suggest you start preparing for November anyway. If something positive comes out of the rechecking then nothing like it, but don't pin all your hopes on it.
