Yes. You can get exemption in 2 papers.

u can get exemption in more than 2 papers also of a single grup.......but u cant get exemption progressively.....ie. the exemption that u get in 1 attempt will be valid upto 3 next attempts but in case u score 60 and above in subsequent attempts then that wont count until u hav replinshed the 3 attempts for the exemption scored earlier.........hope i m clear!!!
