TDS 252 views 3 replies

Hi

From 14th may,2020 government has reduced the TDS rate of non salary .

On rent it was 10% TDS rate ,now the rate is reduced to 7.5% , but by mistake I have deducted 10% and deposited the same . Now my question - is government will issue any notice on me ?

Regards

Gupta

No, there is no problem at all....it's ok..

You deducted...You deposited...and deductee will get credit of 10% in his/her ITR........ that's all right.
No issue for higher deduction if you already deposited that amount to government.

No notice will be issued by the government
