We have received mail from income tax department that our status in etds is default in 2007-08, 2008-09. I downloaded the attachment zip file in compressed mode. But i am unable to extract the file to find out the details of default . When i go through income tax site it is given that password should be entered by taking 15 digit provisional receipt number. But where i have to do this. please suggest

Provisional receipt number you can get the receipt which provided by the NSDL while filing the particualr quarter return. please check and give the password and extract the file

Check which unzip software version you are using
please use winrar 4.10 version or Winzip version 16 (you can download this from google search)
after unzip with one of this version you will prompt for the password which is PRN 15 digit starts with ZERO

Agree with rahul n use original ACK. no. (mentioned in ACK. ) & update ur winzip...dnt use revise ack. 15 digit no. file wont open......
