Error code t-fv-2194 last deductor type is mandatory

I was trying to file a correction return 2010-11 26Q2.The RPU 1.3 do allow this by an error code T-FV-2194 Last Deductor Type is Mandatory.

There is no entries in Last Deductor type column.

Tried for onl;ine correction, but it demands first return to be filed manually only.

Tried for offline return, but it is available (v.1.2) from 2013-14 only.

Anybody please give a solution

Dear Kavithra .... I am also getting similar Error while filing TDS correction return for F.Y-2009-10. Have you found any solution for the same.If yes please share with me.

kindly download the latest 1.3 RPU correction file from TIN NSDL and file the correction . problem should be resolved.

Still I could not find any solution. Reply by

e.filer B.Com/ Hyderabad has no connection with my problem. I need correction in "last deductor type" which is an inactive cell in correction

Any solutions ? Facing the same error Last Deductor type is diabled in v1.3. Trying to create revision for FY 2008-09

FOR THAT problem you have to update one by one record First you Update responsible person PAN, next update other deduct or details than update Type of deductor it will automatically update LAST DEDUCTOR TYPE

Thank you Mariappan. Got this sorted, Edited the txt file and manually added the value (K) in the Last deductor type on the BH line

To solve this problem first you update all the details and save it and close, reopen the saved file and in "UPDATE DEDUCTOR DETAILS" select "SELECT" than all feilds became disable than save it, and validate the file by clicking "CREATE FILE"

Yogesh Sir Can u please elaborate this process. Which txt file should be edited? and when should it be done? Is it before or after creating fil?

Hi,

Double click on conso file, when pormpted open with Notepad.

Now all data will be separated with ^ sign. So read first line and goto right side untill you get the company name.

You have to type K between two ^ symbol, so you record would look like:

^K^Company name
