Can any state in India levied any other tax then GST ?

gst is applicable on 1213 items....and on rest all taxes other than gst are applicable
for example petroleum products and many more...
Thanks Mr Navin but as you In Tamilnaidu extra 30% is levied as entertainment tax. Is this right?
no that is totally not acceptable step from Tamilnadu government.....that is the reason if u are aware there the theaters are on the strike ..... protesting against the government.... bcoz apart from 28% of gst ..30% of local tax is too much....
