The Christ University, Bangalore has approved the eligibility of Chartered Accountants being Associate Members of the Institute to pursue M.Phil/Ph.D Programme at Christ University, in the disciplines of Commerce & Management including in interdisciplinary areas, subject to M.Phil/ Ph.D Regulations of the University.
As per the Ph.D. Regulations of Christ University, the minimum qualification prescribed for Ph.D. enrolment is M.Phil Degree in the relevant discipline. Hence the candidates will be required to complete M.Phil Degree prior to enrolment for Ph.D. Selection process for both M.Phil and Ph.D will be by an entrance test and interview. Chartered Accountants with at least five years of professional and / or industry experience may be considered for exemption from M.Phil under the provisions of the applicable Exemption Rules.
