Education services company EdServ has inked an e-learning partnership with Chennai-based Sreeram Coaching Point, a CA training institute established in 1989. Under the agreement, EdServ will provide online CA coaching for students through www.lampsglow.com.
This partnership signals EdServ's entry into the estimated Rs.2,000-crore CA training market in India. This is, perhaps, the first time that a national branded player is getting into the online CA training space.
This online foray is expected to provide access to expert classroom videos and assessments to an estimated one million aspirants annually to CA-CPT, Inter, and Final examinations. EdServ expects to capture 10 per cent market share and generate revenues of around Rs.200 crore over the next two years in the CA training space through this online foray.
EdServ, says a release, will also focus on overseas markets like the Middle East, where CA examination centres are put up.
Sreeram Coaching Point is one of the well-known players in the CA coaching space with a 21-year track record having trained one lakh students.
It has 24 faculty members as part of its organisation.
