HELLO ARUN,

U WILL HAVE TO SCORE MIN. 40% IN EVERY SUBJECT & 50% IN AGGRWGATE TO CLEAR THE EXAM.

S tats right. Im asking if i do tat in group 2 after just attending 2 exams in group 1, am i eligible to clear group 2?

wy is tat? bcoz institute has said to get exemption in a paper from a group, we shud attend all papers of that group. tats the only condition

Absenting yourself means u r getting "0" in that paper ,so the eligibility of getting 40% in each paper is not fulfilled.

if you have fiiled exam formfor  both the groups

-then you can clear one group if you secured the prescribed % in that group

i mean to say one group failure or absent does'nt affect the passing crieteria for other group.

In your case you can clear 2nd group...

but you cant secure any exemption in group one even if you sc0re 60 in any ppr of group 1 since you hav'nt attempted all the papers...

Am also Agree with Ankur... If you want exemption in Group 1st then tyou have to appear for all the exams , else you dont get exemption after getting more then 60 maeks in tis papers, and also the impact of these exams were not conduct in grp 2 . if you score minimum marks i.e. 40 in each paper and 50 in aggregate then you will pass in grp 2.

ya i too agree with ankur Jain.. 

absence in one group will not affect other group.

you need to 40% in each subject & 50% aggregate in group .

however if you score more than 60% in any paper , then you will be exempted from that paper for next 3 attempts , notwithstanding your marks in other papers .
