Do i need to quit my regular full time job for ca

I am B.E and MBA (Fin), working with an US MNC and have a total work experince of 5 yrs. I work in evening shifts.

I want to pursue CA. However, I have heard that one can't complete CA with fulltime job in a company.

Please let me know, is there any option to complete CA without quiting my current Job?

Can I complete my articleship under CA in morining shift, while working in a company for full time job (in evening shift)? Is this allowed as per ICAI?

Thanks in advance !!

As far as i am aware, ICAI restricts students from doing other courses or jobs during articleship because the institute does not want students to loose the precious practical exposure.  if you are able to asure that your full time job does not affect the articleship training hours, with permission of the institute you could continue with your job.  But it would become stressful to you to manage final classes, articleship and your regular job side by side. The articleship timing required as per ICAI is, start not later than 11.00 am and not end before 5.00pm.  hope you understood the timing of the article training.  For exact details do not hesitate approaching the institute, they would help you.

This was really helpful. Thanks Kgowrish.
