My 1st query is will DIN4 apply to freign Nationals? Since, they do not have an Income Tax PAN No. whatever details that has been submitted at the time of application of DIN1 still holds good.
My 2nd query is for DIN holders for whom PAN has already been quoted in DIN application form is DIN4 still applicable

The purpose of DIN 4 is to make changes in the contents of DIN 1 be it a national or non-national. The guidelines of the DIN 4 specificallly provides that what is to be attached with DIN 4 in case of Foreign Nationals

Hope following will resolve ur doubts:
1) Din 4 is not applicable for foreign citizen because such persons do not hafve pan cards. But if such persons hold indian pan card than DIN4 will become mandatory.
2) In case of existing din if the din holders belive that he has already provided is pan at the time of applying the din than he must not applies again. However saying that it shoud also be noted that for Filing DIN4 there is no roc filing fees and hence you should file the din 4.
3) for safety purpose you are advice to download DIN 4 form and insert pan no. in the form and click on the auto fill button. if the name mentioned on the pan card matches with the DIN name then it is the hint for you not to apply for din4 as the database available with the MCA matches with the Income tax department.

I want to Apply DIN-4 for changing the name of the director.
My quary is when i fill the form and get it checked the quary comes as the PAN no should be Filled, and as i enter PAN no and get it verified the quary comes as the Name does not match with the PAN data Base. Now what i have to do?

I handled the same case and what i did the name in the PAN Card was changed and then I filed DIN 4.
OUR PAN card details does not match with DIN 4 Forms , whether it is requred to change PAN card
