Depreciation % for computer for AY 2017-18
At what rate depreciation will be calculated for computers as per IT Act for AY 2017-18. Is there any change in rate of dep for computers

Mr Vijay, the depreciation rate will be 60% on WRITTEN DOWN VALUE
Depreciation on Computer in A.Y. - 207-18 is 60 % on WDV basis under Income Tax Act

i want to know one more thing, when i was reading income tax ready reconer in than i have seen that for computers the depreciation rate will be 40 % is that correct.

The rate of depreciation on computer is 40 percent w.e.f 01.04.2017 and not 60 percent. The rate of depreciation on computers has been so reduced.
