don't just rely on sangeet kedia's notes as ICSI is setting papers keeping in mind that the student must have read the whole study material....... as most of the students are relying and just reading the notes only, 

so u must have a look to the study material, as the whole objective portion is taken from the study material which scores about 20 marks or more, and the lines in the fill-ups is taken as it is from the study material....

go for it....................

nd it is the best book with easily undrstandabl language

@ Archi, m not saying that Sangeet Kedia's notes are bad for studying but as the base of them are the Study material provided by the institute so they can be taken as a reference book only........

new examination pattern covers objective type questions, to get gud score follow modules along with sangeet kedia notes. Atleast read introduction of each chapter from modules for scoring in objective and also solve papers given at the end of each book

I agree with Priyanshu, all the fill ups and choose the correct answer are taken from the study module. There are no shortcuts to success, if you are pursuing some course then do it with all your heart, you will get to learn a lot from the study module. All the Best!!

For exam success I would suggest you to have balance between books and notes.

First use institute study material along with scanner to have the idea of important topics and chapters. After giving them sound reading from Institute study mat…use class notes or other notes.

Notes of Sangeet and Deepak Gajrani are good for preparation.

As per my personal understanding whole CS is very much possible with the help of scanner and guideline answers issued by ICSI and referring 2-3 reasonable notes. However 1-2 failure is possible aggregate wise in this way but that is fine for some students. But this kind of study is really harmful for your professional life and to realise this mistake not much time is required.   

Students who chose this route come to know the reality immediately after passing CS final or facing their first interview for training or job. Lakin tab tak bahut darr ho chuki hoti hai.

So the right way of setting the foundation is:

1. Take genuine interest in the course and subjects.
2. Develop analytical skills and search good friends for discussion etc.
3. First study scanner to locate important chapters and topics.
4. Mark the important chapters and topics located from scanner in the institute study material.
5. Give a sound and detailed study to institute study material and also give special reading to important chapters and topics located from scanner as mentioned in point no. 4.
6. If you honestly follow point no. 5, you’ll have more than 75% exact idea of your course with good understanding of topic.
7. After that you can use anyone’s notes to give a final touch to your preparation.

Now tell me if you directly use point no. 7 and start using notes from the very beginning without understanding anything what will happen to your professional career?      

Think about it and believe in putting good foundation of your study for long and strong performance.

Suggest me books for executive group 2, as i l have only 20 days after CA finals and I cant go through all topics of modules and some are wholly new for me

If you want to jst pass the exams 

then Sangeet kedia is enough

but for scoring great marks there is no alternative of Hard Work.
