yes it is possible, in cs you have to do articles after your final. so, as you r in job you might skip the articles then you can use the qualification ofcourse you cant get the membership. for complete details see FAQ on

As far as your second question on continuing with your present job, you can continue with it as of now until the time you have cleared your executive (intermediate) stage. After clearing your executive programme you are bound to register for Professional programme (Final) and in the interim must be pursuing your Article ship training and other trainings declared by ICSI like Induction programme, computer training etc. It is a long way, nonetheless if you are serious to take up the course act fast; else, you may have to undergo article ship training close to 3 years as against 15 months, which is the present norm.

ICSI has not yet notified the dates from when the mandatory 3-year training period shall apply. 

As far as your question on the eligibility to appear in the professional examination is concerned, once you have cleared your executive examination, you must register for Professional programme course.

The eligibility to appear in the earliest attempt of examination is considered on completion of 9 months period on registration for the Professional Programme. The articleship training status is not the parameter to decide your eligibility to take up exams unlike the CA course.

It is better to check the various cut-off dates published by ICSI on its website from time to time.
