Confusion: cs or icwa

Go by your inclination; assess which appeals you more, Cost related work or Corporate Secretarial work. Let your choice be looked from the prism of your strengths and perceived opportunities that such a qualification can provide you.

In case, if, you have inertia on any particular stream, please do not opt for such a course as it can dent your aspiration. Choose a course that is of your interest.

CA and CS is good

Okay I have decided to go with CA +CS combination.

Can I do self study for CS executive exams? is it manageable or i need to do coaching for this as well?

If i register for CS in Feb'13, then in which session can i write executive level exam?

Being an ipcc student it is manageable for you to do self study for cs executive level.If you register in

Feb 13 you can write both the modules this december.

Nw i saw in many proflle the letter CMA - who should do CMA? is better than doing CS? Please shed some light on this. I must say human minds is curious 

Doing CS along with CA is much better in comparison to CA+CWA because anyway the both professions would be similar i.e. accounts, taxation and audit based so its better to go for CS.

CMA is the abbreviation for Cost and management accountant. The name of the Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India have been changed to ICAI-CMA, rest is the same.

IS THERE ANY ONE DOING CS COURSE FROM PUNJAB SIDE ? ITS URGENT PLEASE REPLY

depends upon our terms of reference , as far as similarity and relativity is concerned , icwa has more similarity to ca as compared to cs . but if you want to diversify then cs would be better , therefore diversification / charting into known territory is your own choice !

1. I wanted to know on registering for CS Executive do i need to do any sort of training? like we do in CA course for example, OP, ITT

2. Is there any chance of exemption for a Bcom (H) person?

3. I will be doing self study, do i need to buy extra books to refer or institute book is sufficient.
