no its not compulsory... only that answers of different sub-division of a question need to be answered together...

but having said that, i wud recommend in ur own interest to follow the order as much as possible, cos it reduces the pressure on the paper corrector and helps him do his job calmly, which in turn ll help us...

@ Tanveer: its the fear of cutting the markes coz we break rulse even icai clearlly instruct on the first page so i am really confused to take risk or not?????????

do that Q 1st which u know best but with all sub parts

eg if u know Q 4 best then start the paper with Q 4 but Q 4 a  b c means all sub parts in continous seq

But if you know the answers of the questions right from the beginning then go for it...................

The valuer will be impressed.....and it may help u fetch more marks........
