composition scheme

I am registered with mvat department earlier but afterwards migrated into gst In regular scheme, but today I applied for composition scheme, I want to know its applicability date for me as my july and august month returns are yet to be uploaded. kindly guide

As per Rule 3(3A) the effective date shall be 1s October..

 

Also the rule has a notwithstanding clause meaning the rule shall over-ride sub rule (1),(2),(3) and hence the effective date as mentioned in rule being 1st October shall only apply

Effective date is from Oct.

Check return dashboard as in many return filing period shown Jul-Sep means from July they have to file quarterly return from July as in composition.

While in some case it show July,Aug,Sept separately means they are required to file monthly return for that period.
