Complain about PAN

Check whether the Pan Card was applied at NSDL or UTI. Call reapective customer care and tell them your issue. They ll resolve.

It's difficult to use it fraudulently unless your mobile phone is hacked...

I did contact NSDL but they could not help - It probably needs to be done through some Income Tax Authority. PAN was not obtained fraudulently but is now being used in banks, etc fraudulently. When the PAN was issued, the person was an Indian citizen living in Delhi filing Income Tax returns. However, she left India in 2013 and has obtained citizenship of another country. She should not be using that PAN now and it should be cancelled. Please advise the relevant authority and its contact information so it could be cancelled

Get in contact with your Range AO if the IT Dept. helpline is unable yo help you. 

What is IT dept helpline number?

For cancellation of PAN , you need to apply to your jurisdictional AO alongwith surrender of original PAN card.

After due verification of return status, tax demand status etc , AO will proceed for cancellation under intimation to the assessee.

The PAN Card needs to be cancelled - but it is not my PAN card so I caanot apply for cancellation.  A complaint needs to be made and then the IT department will do whatever it needs to do.  OI need the contact authority and its contact information like phone # and email, so I can contact them
