Companies Act 2011 has been passed by Lok sabha outdating the 55 year old bill.
Corporate Social Responsibility is given prior importance.
When Companies Act 1956 was amended india had only 30,000 companies but now India have 8,50,000 Companies.
Hope the new bill will enhance India"s Corporate Level.
When would it be applicable for the purpose of our syllabus...for examinations of CA??
It is not yet clear but is expected to be applicable from Nov 2013 Attempt.
