Can a person having PROFESSIONAL INCOME avail the benefits of Sec. 44AD i.e. Presumptive Income at 8% of Gross T/O or Gross Receipts?

No any professional can't get benifit under 44 AD as section cleary suggest it will be applicable only for bussiness man.
Professional are not covered under 44AD, it is applicable to business income
