clarify supply value
In textile trade, tax rate for apparels above Rs 1000 is 12% and the rest is 5%.Hence ,what is the GST rate (cgst +sgst) for an apparel worth Rs 975? If it is billed @ 5 %,the post GST value is 1024.please clarify.

If GST Rate =x
then
SGST = CGST = 0.5x
then
SGST = CGST = 0.5x
Sir,my doubt is yet to be clarified..What is the current APPLICABLE GST rate for a textile apparel of value Rs 975? 5 or 12 % ?
in this case gst will be chargeable at 5% on 975.
