Change jurisdiction at the time of scrutiny

Dear All ,

Our company has shifted from Salem to Chennai, consequently we have changed PAN Address, and also we have intimated to both jurisdiction office regarding in this behalf , we continue our return filing in the new jurisdiction for the FY 2010-11 and onwards ,

My doubt is that , The scrutiny for the FY 2009-10 has processed in the Salem Jurisdiction , we want to transfer the same file from Salem to Chennai Jurisdiction , whether it is possible as per Act ? , In which section ?

at the time of intimation you had to make request to transfer all files to new juridiction, with a copy to commissioner of both area,

once the notice is issued, it can be transferred with permission of commissioner only , and also on genuine grounds., so visit the commissioner and put your request that its not possible to attend regularly at salem office, as there is no establishment now, and pray him to transfer the file to new juridiction.
