i have recently filed INC-21 for obtaining certificate of commencement of bsuiness for my registered pvt ltd company,a month back. Its status is saying approved but they have not sent the certificate by online. Is it required for Pvt ltd. or is it just a compliance for pvt ltd. Pls guide me on that.
There is no provision in the Act for getting certificate as such. Section 11 only requires declaration to be filed by the company before commencement of business. Hence you can commence business now.
Incidentally, as per Companies (Amendment) Bill 2015 as passed by Parliament today, Section 11 is being deleted.
