How will GST remove the cascading effect of taxes?

In Short To say:-
VAT is computed on Excise. Now in GST there is no question for tax on tax as this is One Nation One tax.

cascading effects of taxes means tax on tax. in current system of indirect taxation vat is calculated on excise part also, in GST regime it will eliminate.
