career option

i'm currently a ca ipcc student. i have passed grp 1 and am doing my articleship. i want to join cs. can anyone tell me the details of the practical training that one has to undergo during cs inter stage and is it compulsory? im waiting for a reply as then i can judge whether is it possible to do the course or not? time is a huge factor.
