Career after ca???

Hi everyone,

I am a freshly qualified CA on the look out for a job now..My areas of interest are Finance and Audit...

I am a bit confused in choosing the exact industry to join..

Many say that joining a manufacturing industry would be very good in terms of exposure in the above areas...

Others say apply for the BIG 4...Some others say join whichever company you get as there is recession in our profession now..

I also have a doubt lke suppose we join a bank initially,can we later join any other industry or would we branded as credit rating analysts and the like???

So in that case would our first job decide our future?

I think many more friends are also confused like me in what to do after CA...

I request my dear CCI friends to guide us and help us out in this crucial phase...

Hi Meenu,

Always try to get into the manufacturing industry .I have seen many CA graduates who made their career in Manufacturing industry and got great success in their life.

you should first try to find out your area of interest and you should proceed in that direction only, since if you join manufacturing concern out of your interest than you will never excel in your in the area of your interest which is more important now a days. Recession is for few days...... it will over soon.
