capital gain money kept in capital account

the net sale consideration or capital gain amount to be deposited in CG account till the end of three years from​the date of sale or till you purchase residential property or construct a residential property which ever is earlier...if you don't purchase or construct residential property within 2 years or 3 years, the amount deposited in CG account will be charged to tax in the respective f.y. i.e. end of third year

in the event of purchase of a new residential property.....and after submitting the request...how long a bank takes to release the amount.

it depends on bank mam.... normally the bank people have to release as early as possible once the request is made...
