cancellation of gst
my client was died in 12 September 2018 and up to September returns was filed and ITC OF RS 7000 in available in electronic credit ledger , we forgot to cancel the GST registration in October itself now we need to cancel the GST registration what is the procedure is there any penalty pls explain

please file October and November nil return with late fee then apply for cancellation

Is there any provision that need to apply for cancellation with in 30 days from the death date as the assesse died in 12th September itself
