See

suppose the eq. is

log y=log 10-0.322*log 30

log y= 1 - 0.322*(1.4771)[explantion:- now here count the no before decimal as in first part it is 10 two digit so u  ll write 1as there value of 10 in log table is 0 so tehe will be no value after 10 &  in the second part vlue is 30 that is also two digit so we have written 1i.e. (jitne bhi digit ho usme se ek kam kar ke likhte hai) here we will see value of 30 in log table i.e. 4771 we will write this after decimal(see 30 in column 0 in log table).

log y=0.5244(simlpe clculation of right hand side)

y = antilog(0.5244) (log jab  = ke other side jayega to anti log ho jayega)

y=3.345[Explanation:- no of digit after decimal is 4 so we will write 3(i.e. 4-1) put a decimal sign n see the value of .52 in coloumn 4 then add to this value mean diffrence of 4 in the same row )

hope you understand my language
