Can left employee eligible for bonus

Hello Everyone,

Can a left employee eligible to get bonus? in follwing cercumstances,

1. As per the bonus act he has worked in the previous year more than 30 days.

2. he has given a notice period of 10 days. Company,s HR policy says 30 days clear notice required.

Now can he fight for his bonus in that company which he left 3 months back.?

Yes definately if he has completed 30days.

my another question is whether bonus act applicable to service sector industry and mandatory to follow for service sector also?
