CA. Vinod kumar agarwal guilty...!

If a Chartered Accountant is an author of any book, he should not mention his association with any Chartered Accountancy Firm in that book. But Vinod Kumar Agarwal (founder of AS Foundation) has mentioned that he has working experience with Firms like M/s. S.B. Billimoria and A.F. Ferguson in the A S Foundation publication of CA Final Advanced Auditing & Professional Ethics book (in which he is one of the two authors). Hence he is guilty of Professional Misconduct under Chartered Accountants Act, 1949 [As amended by the Chartered Accountants (Amendment) Act, 2006]. I don't understand why ICAI is not taking any action in this regard.

Listen being a member of Institute i have a personal request to you. Good that you found out abt a member doin somethin against the ethics. But lets not take it personally and spoil our own members name in public. Apart from it take any CA book you will find the author mentionin his firm s name. Then why to pin point someone personally. No offence meant.

Mr. LKR, I found only Vinod Kumar Agarwal who has mentioned in his book, a CA Firm name which is against our professional ethics. You said that any CA will mention in his book, his association with a CA Firm(s). But I did not find anyone else other than Vinod Kumar Agarwa

Ok lets not argue over it DOT.

I agree with MAYANK.

But Institute should take action against all of them...

I think Professional Ethics  are only for studing ( CA Final ) it is of no practical application for institute......

Rather than arguing with Go Green we must argue about the ETHICS.Institute should look after this matter. Are rules made only for CA STUDENTS?????????????? Think about stringent ARTICLESHIP RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!
