Ca salary

even i heard same... In bangalore people with 25k articleship stipend are not able to get the same after CA qualified...

no its not true...as far as i know the pay packet depends on how well ca's communicate with the employers..and yeah going by the number of instittions that are offering ca coching in regional languages and icai itself not batting an eye lid to the pathetic communication skills ca students and ca qualified have its no wonder ca's often lagging behind on communication skills which M.B.A have in abundance..whats the point in having knowledge when you can hardly express it..

for all the qualified CA's working for a low pay--you don't deserve to be a C.A man..because of people like you the industry standards and pay packet is comong down..

i am recently qualified CA (in Nov.2010) but getting very well salary with good job profile also. Its totally depend on us how we are getting the adavantage of CA degree and Knowledge.

When I got qualied that time percentage of result are high and campus selection was also very poor but still i got good job.

People should not think about all these stuff things rather they should have capabilty , personality , communication skill to mitigate the CA Degree.

Dear Sir,

Please tell us as to what are the additional areas (Like SAP, etc) on which one needs to concentrate apart from Good Communication Skills, Computer Knowledge, etc.

As far as additional areas are concerned you can concentrate on IFRS, AS ,SAP, Recent amendement  in Indirect tax and Direct tax.  

For Interview n Job you should have practical knowledge of all those things bare therotical knowledge is not sufficient.

Freshers @ TCS are getting 5.75 Lcpa(salary unchanged since last 2 years); Infosys 7.25lcpa, ITC 13.7lcpa............

Wipro:Rs 8lcpa

The quality of CA freshers @ campus was so pathetic that many cos like itc didn't recruit as many as they had promised..

Salary purely depends on the capability of a professional to transit his theoretical knowledge into practical one. industry is not just looking for degree holders, they see, actual value addition done by professionals. So, just degree is not enough to bag a big job. We need to dig our self beyond just theory. We need to show the prospective employer that how we can contribute to the organization.

Mostly, student just target the getting ca degree and start expecting big jobs, I have seen mostly student saying, let us pass out final, and then we will gain the experience afterwards. They really study very hard to pass out exams and problems starts from here.

For example, I pass out final in multiple attempts, but, did my article seriously and then industry job continuously, just used to take two weeks leave for exams. Once I pass out final, my salary jumped more than double and almost more than two time of average salary offered in our campus. 

There are all kinds of people in the CA Industry and some are able to get to earn a good salary and some are not
