Ca final registration

Hi

Is it necessory to  register for  ca final before 6 months of  the examination? my final attempt will due in 2014 may,and my ipcc 2nd group  still pending,if i clear it in november 2013 exam will i able write the final  exam in may  2014?and if it  is possible what i should do for getting registration number  soon ?
